The SLC Lunatics & Clubhouse on South Temple are joining forces to make an impact by hosting a benefit market in support of Palestine. This collaborative effort is driven by a shared commitment to humanitarian aid & a call for ceasefire. 100% of the market proceeds will be donated to relief aid in Gaza, where it is desperately needed. Souks, vibrant & bustling markets, are an integral part of the cultural fabric of many societies around the world. Historically, they have served as centers of trade, commerce, & social interaction for centuries. The origins of souks can be traced back to ancient times, with records dating them back as far as the Roman Empire & the Silk Road era. In these markets, merchants from diverse backgrounds converged to share & deal goods, fostering cultural exchange & economic growth.
In the context of Palestine, souks hold a particularly special significance. These market bazaars, are not only places of trade, but also symbols of resilience & community. Souks in Palestine embody the perseverance of a people determined to preserve their heritage, even in the face of adversity; making these gatherings a vital part of the Palestinian identity & a testament to the enduring spirit of it’s people.
When: Saturday / Jan. 20th / 11:00AM – 4:00PM
Where: Clubhouse (850 East South Temple, SLC Utah 84102)
Guest Entry: $3 ( cash or Venmo upon entry )
What To Expect: A fantastic array of SLC purveyors, including makers, artists, treasure hunters, affiliates of the obscure, live music, local food, & more!

*The vendors participating in the market will obviously be able to keep their personal earnings, but the vendor & entry fees collected will be contributed to the cause of peace & support for those affected by the conflict in the region.

The Salt Souk is an (all-ages) market bazaar where vendors can (affordably) sell a selection of eclectic goods, including original artworks, vintage clothing & gifts, handmade bath & body products, local food, thrifted items, local food, etc… These markets garner an absolutely phenomenal community that encourages the radical authenticity of the diverse culture here in Salt Lake City! Our only rule is DO NO HARM! Let’s all please treat one another with kindness & respect. 🫶
Vendor Booth Fee: $77 – All vendors are required to submit payment within 48 hours of acceptance.
If we do not receive your fee within 48 hours, your space will be given to another vendor.
This market will be held indoors @ Clubhouse (850 East South Temple SLC, UT 84102)
All vendor spaces are first-come, first-serve!
Vendor Set-Up: 8:45AM – 10:45AM (Souk opens at 11:00AM)
Event Time: 11:00AM – 4:00PM
Vendor Load-Out: 4:00PM – 5:30PM (Vendors must be out no later than 6:00PM)
All vendor spaces are approximately 100 sq. ft. in various configurations & are assigned on a first come, first serve basis at load-in. (8:45AM – 10:45AM)

SLC Lunatics & The Salt Souk reserve the right to adjust &/or change market dates, load-in times, market building & vendor space configuration – including reserved spaces at any time; due to unforeseen circumstances. Vendors with reserved spaces will have first pick of any new configuration.
