Yule Night Market – 12/13/2022

There is something beguiling about ‘the after hours’. Its an extraordinary moment when you discover a new treasure, find yourself in a different part of town, or meet a magical stranger under the stars of a winter evening…

We, the SLC Lunatics, will be curating these nocturnal markets (each with a different theme) on the *second Tuesday* of every month. 

The theme for December is in celebration of Yule & the Winter Solstice!  Tap into your pagan traditions & join us for this one-of-a-kind market experience!

Featuring The Backyard Revival – “a Folk/Americana group with a soft spot for the blues”  Complete with multilayered harmonies & a sizzlin’ fiddle; this phenomenal troupe of humans present an eclectic live show abundant with toe-tapping originals & creatively interpreted covers. 

When:  Tuesday / December 13th / 7PM – 10PM

Where: Church & State (370 South 300 East Salt Lake City, Utah 84111)

Encouraged Attire: Imagine yourself among your Ancestors, circled around a Yule Log under a Solstice Moon… How would you be dressed? Antlers & fur throws? Traditional garb? Ugly sweaters? You decide!

What To Expect: A fantastic array of SLC purveyors, including makers, artists, treasure hunters, affiliates of the obscure, live performances, local food, & more! Support small businesses & shop local/handmade gifts this Holiday season!

Fun Fact! Viking children would leave their shoes out by the hearth on the eve of the Winter Solstice with sugar & hay for Odin’s eight-legged horse.
